Provision a CloseBoss phone number
Get a local CloseBoss number for inbound calls, missed-call text-back, and outbound texting — provisioned in your area code in under five minutes.
Every CloseBoss workspace gets a dedicated phone number for SMS + voice. The number is what powers missed-call text-back, AI voice answering, and outbound texts that don't trip carrier spam filters.
Provisioning is automatic — pick an area code, accept the carrier terms, and you're live. You can keep your personal number for direct contacts; CloseBoss's number sits in front of it as the public-facing line.
Step by step
Open Settings → Channels & Compliance → Phone numbers.
Click Provision number. Enter your area code (the default uses your office ZIP code).
Accept the A2P 10DLC carrier terms — this registers the number for SMS and unlocks higher daily message limits.
Optional: enable Call forwarding to your personal mobile so live calls ring through to you. Toggle Voice AI on if you want the AI to answer when you don't pick up.
Add the new number to your email signature, business card, and website — use it as your public real-estate number going forward.
